Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and {that} they will hear it.
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but {rather} through their fall salvation {is come} unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
Men {and} brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by {them that are} no people, {and} by a foolish nation I will anger you.
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Behold, thou shalt call a nation {that} thou knowest not, and nations {that} knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers {did}, so {do} ye.
And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb {to be} his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. {Though...: or, That Israel may be gathered to him, and I may, etc}
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it {is} a stiffnecked people:
And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
They have moved me to jealousy with {that which is} not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with {those which are} not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
Who are Israelites; to whom {pertaineth} the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service {of God}, and the promises; {covenants: or, testaments}
And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
But when the king heard {thereof}, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.
And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to {their} minister.
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: {it was: or, the gospel was}

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises {made} unto the fathers:

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard {it}. {the word...: Gr. the word of hearing} {not being...: or, because they were not united by faith to}
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. {believed: or, trusted}
Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things {which belong} unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard {it}, they said, God forbid.
{Which is} a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
Upright {men} shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
Wherefore {is there} a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing {he hath} no heart {to it}?
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another. {another: Heb. his fellow, or, neighbour}
Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this {man} this wisdom, and {these} mighty works?
They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out {his} vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? {Gentiles: or, Greeks}
The word which {God} sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with {his} hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.
Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of {their} conversation. {have the rule: or, are the guides}
But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.
