According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; {to fulfil...: or, fully to preach the word}
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called {me} by his grace,
By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: {for obedience...: or, to the obedience of faith}
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation {of the gospel} is committed unto me.
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; {even} in him: {heaven: Gr. the heavens}
Delivering thee from the people, and {from} the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think {of himself} more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. {soberly: Gr. to sobriety}
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: {so do}.
Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, {and} lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love {which ye have} to all the saints,
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
(For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Which is come unto you, as {it is} in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as {it doth} also in you, since the day ye heard {of it}, and knew the grace of God in truth:
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; {to fulfil...: or, fully to preach the word}

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
