For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, {which are} the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of {our} faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. {author: or, beginner}
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set {him} at his own right hand in the heavenly {places},
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Who {is} he that condemneth? {It is} Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Now of the things which we have spoken {this is} the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, {even} Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
[A Psalm of David.] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Then {cometh} the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
Who being the brightness of {his} glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence {is} fulness of joy; at thy right hand {there are} pleasures for evermore.
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether {they be} thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I {will be} with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing {that is} not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion {is} an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom {that} which shall not be destroyed.

For such an high priest became us, {who is} holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

{What} and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
His glory {is} great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all {things} under his feet:
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
The word which {God} sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. {the shepherds: Gr. the men the shepherds}
Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under {him, it is} manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb {to be} his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. {Though...: or, That Israel may be gathered to him, and I may, etc}
Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word {is} this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory {is} above the earth and heaven. {excellent: Heb. exalted}
Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
Him hath God exalted with his right hand {to be} a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. {in him: or, with him}
And the cherubims shall stretch forth {their} wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces {shall look} one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
And above the firmament that {was} over their heads {was} the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne {was} the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, {his...: Gr. the angels of his power}
Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
