In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
And all things {are} of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
When he prepared the heavens, I {was} there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: {a compass: or, a circle}

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly {places} might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls {to him} in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest {between} the cherubims, thou {art} the God, {even} thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
