For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And if Christ {be} in you, the body {is} dead because of sin; but the Spirit {is} life because of righteousness.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
For we know that if our earthly house of {this} tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This {is} the first resurrection.
And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. {Prince: or, Author}
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
O Lord, by these {things men} live, and in all these {things is} the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, {and} become the firstfruits of them that slept.
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present {us} with you.
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet {are}, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

As the dew of Hermon, {and as the dew} that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, {even} life for evermore.
Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. {Labour not: or, Work not}

All {they that be} fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
{He that is} our God {is} the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord {belong} the issues from death.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which {he had yet} being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam {was made} a quickening spirit.
They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive {as} the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof {shall be} as the wine of Lebanon. {grow: or, blossom} {scent: or, memorial}
And it shall come to pass, {that} every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. {rivers: Heb. two rivers}
And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; {and} daily shall he be praised. {shall be given: Heb. one shall give}
To whom coming, {as unto} a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, {and} precious,
And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
That Christ should suffer, {and} that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
And here men that die receive tithes; but there he {receiveth them}, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's {house certain} which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
