And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
Behold, God {is} my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH {is} my strength and {my} song; he also is become my salvation.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, {who is} the health of my countenance, and my God.
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called {thee} by thy name; thou {art} mine.
Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am {he}. {Now: or, From henceforth}
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. {there unto: or, to sufferings, or, to persecution}
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
{We are} troubled on every side, yet not distressed; {we are} perplexed, but not in despair; {in despair: or, altogether without help, or, means}
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: {but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also}.
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
That all {men} should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
So that contrariwise ye {ought} rather to forgive {him}, and comfort {him}, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. {trusted: or, hoped}
{Yet} the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song {shall be} with me, {and} my prayer unto the God of my life.
When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, {was troubled: Gr. he troubled himself}

And I said, This {is} my infirmity: {but I will remember} the years of the right hand of the most High.
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity. {prosperity: Heb. good}
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy {are ye}: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, {principles...: or, word of the beginning of}

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man {that is} my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for {such things} must needs be; but the end {shall} not {be} yet.
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
