All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed {is} the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
I, {even} I, {am} the LORD; and beside me {there is} no saviour.
Saying, Go ye into the village over against {you}; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring {him hither}.
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward {is} with him, and his work before him. {work: or, recompence}
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Thy throne, O God, {is} for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom {is} a right sceptre.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
Tell ye, and bring {them} near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? {who} hath told it from that time? {have} not I the LORD? and {there is} no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; {there is} none beside me.

Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. {joy: Heb. shouting}
Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us {our} sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And they said, The Lord hath need of him.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
Of this man's seed hath God according to {his} promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them. {pipes: or, flutes}

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people. {blessed: or, thanked}
He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of {his} mercy;
The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this {is} our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this {is} the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
The just LORD {is} in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. {every...: Heb. morning by morning}
To declare, {I say}, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
