For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate {to be} conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did {it}, as {did} also your rulers.
And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
And Joseph said unto them, What deed {is} this that ye have done? wot ye not that such a man as I can certainly divine? {divine: or, make trial?}

And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they {are} not all Israel, which are of Israel:
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for {as for} this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
But if I live in the flesh, this {is} the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.
Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. {forbear...: Heb. protract over them} {in thy...: Heb. in the hand of thy prophets}
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
Thy people {shall be} willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. {from...: or, more than the womb of the morning: thou shalt have, etc}
And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
And Elijah the Tishbite, {who was} of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, {As} the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. {Elijah: Heb. Elijahu: Gr. Elias}
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, {even} I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I {am} the LORD their God.
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. {subject...: of the same nature, that is, a fellow mortal} {earnestly: or, in his prayer}
I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, {there shall be} as the shaking of an olive tree, {and} as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
And the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.
And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did {it}, as {did} also your rulers.
But if I live in the flesh, this {is} the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer {is} worthy of his reward.
And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
