(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, {that they are} the enemies of the cross of Christ:

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, {with...: Heb. in strength of hand}
As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for {your} pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD'S flock is carried away captive.
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before {them} all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous {are they}, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. {government: or, dominion}
That no {man} go beyond and defraud his brother in {any} matter: because that the Lord {is} the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. {defraud: or, oppress, or, overreach} {in...: or, in the matter}
Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
For such {are} false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness {come} by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told {you} in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works {are} truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that {is} unprofitable for you. {have...: or, guide}

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised {his} birthright.
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked {one};
Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he {is} unclean unto you.
{And} lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and {that} I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
