Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are {these}; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

And when he had called the people {unto him} with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous {are they}, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. {government: or, dominion}

As {is} the earthy, such {are} they also that are earthy: and as {is} the heavenly, such {are} they also that are heavenly.

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
