And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions {that were} under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to {his} purpose.
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption {for us}.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; {In: or, For}
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
In that he saith, A new {covenant}, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old {is} ready to vanish away.
Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Blessed {be} the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, {abundant: Gr. much}
Blessed {is} the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
For the wages of sin {is} death; but the gift of God {is} eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. {covenant: or, testament}
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle {you}.
And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred {and} forty {and} four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of {them}, and embraced {them}, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. {in faith: Gr. according to faith}
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, {even} eternal life.
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof {shall be} with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. {but...: or, and shall have nothing} {desolations...: or, it shall be cut off by desolations}

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
For where a testament {is}, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. {be: or, be brought in}
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. {giveth life: or, quickeneth}
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, {even} as many as the Lord our God shall call.
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup {is} the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Now a mediator is not {a mediator} of one, but God is one.
And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who {is} this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
To open their eyes, {and} to turn {them} from darkness to light, and {from} the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession.
And the priest shall put {some} of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which {is} in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which {is at} the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
