Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, {covenant: or, testament}

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
[A Psalm of David.] The LORD {is} my shepherd; I shall not want.
Now the God of peace {be} with you all. Amen.
I am the good shepherd, and know my {sheep}, and am known of mine.
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord {be} with you all.
As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein {is} no water. {by...: or, whose covenant is by blood}
Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled {it} on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, {even} the sure mercies of David.
For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. {from them: Heb. from after them}
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, {and} his people, {saying}, Where {is} he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where {is} he that put his holy Spirit within him? {shepherd: or, shepherds}
For where a testament {is}, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. {be: or, be brought in}
And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. {Prince: or, Author}
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, {even} Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, {and} to Israel {for} an everlasting covenant,

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with {him} through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. {by: or, because of}
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, {even} my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and {I pray God} your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set {him} at his own right hand in the heavenly {places},
Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle {you}.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

This is he that came by water and blood, {even} Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend {is} his name.
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than {that of} Abel. {covenant: or, testament}
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, {I say}, whether {they be} things in earth, or things in heaven. {having...: or, making}
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition {between us};

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man {that is} my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, {and} one shepherd.
So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, {son} of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
Saying, This {is} the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, {even} my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that {is} upon the earth.

And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all {their} heart and all {their} soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
But God raised him from the dead:
Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, {that} the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.
And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, {and} to Israel {for} an everlasting covenant:
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make {it} desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. {the covenant: or, a covenant} {for the...: or, with the abominable armies} {the desolate: or, the desolator}
