In that ye have brought {into my sanctuary} strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, {even} my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations. {strangers: Heb. children of a stranger}

And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
And {that} I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD {is} polluted; and the fruit thereof, {even} his meat, {is} contemptible.
Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all {men} every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers {did}, so {do} ye.
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither {is that} circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, {am} holy.
Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD {is} contemptible. {offer...: or, bring unto, etc}
They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, {and} the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, {neither} they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations {and} of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them. {set it far...: or, made it unto them an unclean thing}
Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever {he be} of thy seed in their generations that hath {any} blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God. {bread: or, food}
And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us {his} flesh to eat?
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day {that} I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: {although...: or, should I have continued an husband unto them?}

And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, {but} that ye break my covenant:
The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go {to be} among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. {sleep: Heb. lie down}
For the life of the flesh {is} in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it {is} the blood {that} maketh an atonement for the soul.
Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
And whatsoever man {there be} of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen {that} the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command {that} they should not enter into thy congregation. {pleasant: or, desirable}
{It shall be} a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, {and} the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. {abuse...: or, mock me}
And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which {is} upon the wood that {is} on the fire: {it is} an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Wherefore, {as} I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish {thee}; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken {it}, saith the Lord GOD.
They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves {are} round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of {them that be} slain.
Her prophets {are} light {and} treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.
