I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, {which is} your reasonable service.

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. {are: or, be ye}

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, {of the Lord: or, in the Lord}
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what {is} that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. {strength: Heb. rock}
Which in time past {were} not a people, but {are} now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
What shall I render unto the LORD {for} all his benefits toward me?
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward {man} is renewed day by day.
Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body {is} not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. {Meats: not flesh only, but food of any kind}
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, {love: or, pity}
Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort {you} by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, {so} ye would abound more and more. {beseech: or, request} {exhort: or, beseech}
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: {is sacrificed; or, is slain}
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech {you} by us: we pray {you} in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; {consecrated: or, new made}
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices {shall be} accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and {that} there be no divisions among you; but {that} ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. {divisions: Gr. schisms}
For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: {believed: or, obeyed}
Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. {offered: Gr. poured forth}
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things {which were sent} from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. {I have all: or, I have received all}
For what glory {is it}, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer {for it}, ye take it patiently, this {is} acceptable with God. {acceptable: or, thank}
Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in {your} prayers to God for me;
According to my earnest expectation and {my} hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but {that} with all boldness, as always, {so} now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether {it be} by life, or by death.
We then, {as} workers together {with him}, beseech {you} also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. {offering up: or, sacrificing}
If {there be} therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings {are} not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.
For this {is} good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, {the same} loveth little.
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. {piety: or, kindness}
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive {us} graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. {receive...: or, give good}
And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence {am} base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: {in presence: or, in outward appearance}

The sacrifices of God {are} a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
What shall I render unto the LORD {for} all his benefits toward me?
Dearly beloved, I beseech {you} as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things {done} in {his} body, according to that he hath done, whether {it be} good or bad.
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, {of the Lord: or, in the Lord}
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
Because thy lovingkindness {is} better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

There is difference {also} between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please {her} husband.
All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great {things} he hath done for you. {how...: or, what a great thing}
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all {men}. {exhort: or, beseech} {unruly: or, disorderly}

And said unto them, Ye {are} the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, {both} ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto {the place that} I have prepared for it.
And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD {at} the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And the priest shall take {some} of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put {it} upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
And he slew {it}; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put {it} upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: {men} shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
And when these days are expired, it shall be, {that} upon the eighth day, and {so} forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD. {peace...: or, thank offerings}
And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
For he that in these things serveth Christ {is} acceptable to God, and approved of men.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.
And on the second day {ye shall offer} twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:
And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, {and} fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:
And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them {for} an offering unto the LORD.
One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
And he shall offer thereof his offering, {even} an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that {is} upon the inwards,
And he made the altar of burnt offering {of} shittim wood: five cubits {was} the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; {it was} foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.
And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD {be} of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn {it} upon the altar: {it is} an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
And they shall bring all your brethren {for} an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. {litters: or, coaches}
Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, {one} shall then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth {one} shall shut the gate.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, {even} of the herd, and of the flock.
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and {by} our gathering together unto him, {unto him: or, around him}
For this {is} good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name {shall be} great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense {shall be} offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name {shall be} great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
