God {is} not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do {it}? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
{It is of} the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
Behold, I {am} the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, {that} the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? {there is} no searching of his understanding.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to {his} purpose.

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform {it} until the day of Jesus Christ: {perform: or, finish}
But the mercy of the LORD {is} from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
As concerning the gospel, {they are} enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, {they are} beloved for the fathers' sakes.
But he, {being} full of compassion, forgave {their} iniquity, and destroyed {them} not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
I, {even} I, {am} the LORD; and beside me {there is} no saviour.
I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I {am} God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
And he said unto him, I {am} the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
He {is} the LORD our God: his judgments {are} in all the earth.
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only {son}:
In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this {is} my name for ever, and this {is} my memorial unto all generations.

Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go.
I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he {is} the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom {that} which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion {shall be even} unto the end.
I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. {power: Heb. hand}
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed {it} by an oath: {confirmed...: Gr. interposed himself by}
And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I {am} the LORD: {the LORD: or, JEHOVAH}
{Art} thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction. {mighty...: Heb. rock} {established: Heb. founded}
Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, {those that} remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I {am} the LORD.
And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
