Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God {is} one LORD:

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called {thee} by thy name; thou {art} mine.

For thou {art} great, and doest wondrous things: thou {art} God alone.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. {strength: Heb. rock}
But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou {art} God.

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol {is} nothing in the world, and that {there is} none other God but one.

And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest {between} the cherubims, thou art the God, {even} thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
{As for} our redeemer, the LORD of hosts {is} his name, the Holy One of Israel.
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend {is} his name.
For who {is} God, save the LORD? and who {is} a rock, save our God?
That all {men} should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that {there is} no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
