And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, {even} in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
Then {cometh} the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing {that is} not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
Then {cometh} the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what {is} his name, and what {is} his son's name, if thou canst tell?
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed {is} he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
{Touching} the Almighty, we cannot find him out: {he is} excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain {saint} which spake, How long {shall be} the vision {concerning} the daily {sacrifice}, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? {that...: or, the numberer of secrets, or, the wonderful numberer: Heb. But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I {am} the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these {things} I delight, saith the LORD.
