But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

I {am} the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. {bondage: Heb. servants}
Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit {it} for ever.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, {saying}, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. {of...: Heb. from afar} {with lovingkindness...: have I extended lovingkindness unto thee}
Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. {life: or, person}
Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, {even} you above all people, as {it is} this day.
And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What {is} this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage: {in...: Heb. to morrow}
To perform the mercy {promised} to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this {place}: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. {bondage: Heb. servants}
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee {is} mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. {rest: Heb. be silent}
He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
Or hath God assayed to go {and} take him a nation from the midst of {another} nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word {which} he commanded to a thousand generations.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, {and} hating one another.
For he remembered his holy promise, {and} Abraham his servant.
And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, {even} out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as {ye are} this day.
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only {son}:
We love him, because he first loved us.
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for {it is} he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as {it is} this day.

Let the redeemed of the LORD say {so}, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

And from Jesus Christ, {who is} the faithful witness, {and} the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, {to be} king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
And they remembered that God {was} their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give {it, I say}, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou {art} righteous:
And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, {and} the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
