And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we {should go} unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, {son} of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
One of the two which heard John {speak}, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, {and} called:
The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
And after six days Jesus taketh {with him} Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also {one} of his disciples? He denied {it}, and said, I am not.
And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all {quarters}, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the {sons} of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also {one} of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.
And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men {and} brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
And when it was day, he called {unto him} his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, {being} the ninth {hour}.
When Jesus then lifted up {his} eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some {is}; but exhorting {one another}: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the {son} of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James {the son} of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
