And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and {then} cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.
And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time {is} far passed:
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James {the son} of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas {the brother} of James.
And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James {the son} of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the {son} of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.
Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
