Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
Who can tell {if} God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for {it is} time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

The name of the LORD {is} a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. {safe: Heb. set aloft}
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. {affection: or, mind}
And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek {them} not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. {abide: Heb. lodge}
But grow in grace, and {in} the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him {be} glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, {were} in it, {as} I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall {but} deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
Who knoweth {if} he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; {even} a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.
It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek {after God}: God {is} not in all his thoughts. {God is...: or, all his thoughts are, There is no God}
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for {there is} no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
