And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. {set a mark: Heb. mark a mark}
And they shall see his face; and his name {shall be} in their foreheads.
And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: {to receive: Gr. to give them}
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and {I saw} the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received {his} mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty {and} four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye {are}: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy {you}, when I smite the land of Egypt. {to destroy...: Heb. for a destruction}
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue {that} shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This {is} the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness {is} of me, saith the LORD.
For true and righteous {are} his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and {see} thou hurt not the oil and the wine. {A measure: the word choenix signifieth a measure containing one wine quart, and the twelfth part of a quart}
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite {you}.
Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and {one} saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing {is} in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. {it shooteth...: or, thou sendest it forth} {he...: or, when he removeth it with}

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.
And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all {that is} the children's of Israel.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will {my} Father honour.
If it be {so}, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver {us} out of thine hand, O king.
Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, {and} spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come {hither}. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. {mouth: Chaldee, door}
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
