Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
Are there {any} among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? {art} not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these {things}.
O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. {pastures: or, habitations}

Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of {our} soul {is} to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
