Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
After two days was {the feast of} the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put {him} to death.
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
And thus shall ye eat it; {with} your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it {is} the LORD'S passover.
Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What {is that} to us? see thou {to that}.
Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: {With desire...: or, I have heartily desired}
That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the {same} night in which he was betrayed took bread:
And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take {your} rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.
And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.
After two days was {the feast of} the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put {him} to death.
And in the fourteenth day of the first month {is} the passover of the LORD.
Now at {that} feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.
