And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured {it} on his head. {spikenard: or, pure nard, or, liquid nard}
Now a certain {man} was sick, {named} Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that {Jesus} sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
Ye know that after two days is {the feast of} the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called {the mount} of Olives.
And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth {day} of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of {their} fathers, a lamb for an house: {lamb: or, kid}
