Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault {at all}.
For such an high priest became us, {who is} holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let {him} go.
Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined {him} before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:
Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him.
When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify {him}, crucify {him}. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify {him}: for I find no fault in him.
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let {him} go.
And though they found no cause of death {in him}, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
And there arose a great cry: and the scribes {that were} of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
