And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's {son}, to betray him;
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
Even so {must their} wives {be} grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
Ye are of {your} father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. {of his own: or, from his own will or disposition}
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. {offended: he relapseth, or, falleth into sin}
That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.
And Judas {the brother} of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's {son}, which should betray him,

Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped {it}. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave {it} to Judas Iscariot, {the son} of Simon. {sop: or, morsel}
Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, {as} the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.
