See now that I, {even} I, {am} he, and {there is} no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither {is there any} that can deliver out of my hand.

Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited {me} in the night; thou hast tried me, {and} shalt find nothing; I am purposed {that} my mouth shall not transgress.
Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity. {Let...: Heb. Let him weigh me in balances of justice}
O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
But he {is} in one {mind}, and who can turn him? and {what} his soul desireth, even {that} he doeth.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear {you} in pieces, and {there be} none to deliver.
The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity {that is} in me.

For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
Thinkest thou this to be right, {that} thou saidst, My righteousness {is} more than God's?
His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither {is there} any to deliver {them}.
O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
