Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, {and} wrung {them} out.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. {Art} thou not it that hath cut Rahab, {and} wounded the dragon?
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it {shall be} for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err {therein}. {but...: or, for he shall be with them}
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts {is} his name.
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I {am} with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off. {keep...: Heb. feast} {the wicked: Heb. Belial}
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to {fulfil} the lusts {thereof}.
And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh {himself} with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth {herself} with her jewels. {decketh: Heb. decketh as a priest}
Thy people also {shall be} all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. {truth: Heb. truths}
How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts {to dwell} in {other} cities.
And the armies {which were} in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that {is} among the children of Israel.
But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put {it} on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on {his} feet:
In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar. {bells: or, bridles}
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. {white: or, bright}
And, behold, {one} like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
Even the righteousness of God {which is} by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, {and} mountain of holiness.
Thy people {shall be} willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. {from...: or, more than the womb of the morning: thou shalt have, etc}
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

And it shall come to pass, {that he that is} left in Zion, and {he that} remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, {even} every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: {among...: or, to life}

Thy dead {men} shall live, {together with} my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew {is as} the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, {and} come to thee. {As} I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them {on thee}, as a bride {doeth}.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: {Is} not the LORD in Zion? {is} not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, {and} with strange vanities? {them...: Heb. the country of them that are far off}
Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
