And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which {was} upon the altar, and sprinkled {it} upon Aaron, {and} upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, {and} his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. {white: or, bright}
For such an high priest became us, {who is} holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Deck thyself now {with} majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound {it} unto him therewith.
And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy {place}, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh {himself} with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth {herself} with her jewels. {decketh: Heb. decketh as a priest}
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.
In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth {shall be} excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. {beautiful...: Heb. beauty and glory} {them...: Heb. the escaping}
Even the righteousness of God {which is} by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered {unto his people}, and shall die there.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise {man} glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty {man} glory in his might, let not the rich {man} glory in his riches:
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
But we are all as an unclean {thing}, and all our righteousnesses {are} as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to {fulfil} the lusts {thereof}.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth {is} mine:
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. {for the: or, by the}
Honour and majesty {are} before him: strength and beauty {are} in his sanctuary.
For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
And thou shalt put {some} of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these {are} holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and {so} put them on.
And {he that is} the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
And he said unto him that {was} over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.
