So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not {let them} pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I {am} the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I {am} the LORD.
As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter {also}, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great {is} the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. {inhabitant: Heb. inhabitress}
And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I {am} the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. {their: or, your}

Behold, thou shalt call a nation {that} thou knowest not, and nations {that} knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
For I {am} the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt {for} thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
So the house of Israel shall know that I {am} the LORD their God from that day and forward.

And the Egyptians shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted {thy} voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? {even} against the Holy One of Israel.
And it came to pass at {the time of} the offering of the {evening} sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou {art} God in Israel, and {that} I {am} thy servant, and {that} I have done all these things at thy word.
Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
So the house of Israel shall know that I {am} the LORD their God from that day and forward.
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I {am} the LORD.
And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, {neither} they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD {is} God of the hills, but he {is} not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I {am} the LORD.
But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;
