Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Who {is} a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. {men: Gr. perfect, or, of a ripe age}
The wisdom of the prudent {is} to understand his way: but the folly of fools {is} deceit.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and {into} many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, {see that ye} love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. {harmless: or, simple}
Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
See that none render evil for evil unto any {man}; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all {men}.
But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but {that} rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed {his} hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye {to it}.
See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more {shall not} we {escape}, if we turn away from him that {speaketh} from heaven:
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife {see} that she reverence {her} husband.

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See {thou do it} not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What {is that} to us? see thou {to that}.
For this cause we also, since the day we heard {it}, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
Folly {is} joy to {him that is} destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly. {destitute...: Heb. void of heart}
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom {is} profitable to direct.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. {let...: or, all thy ways shall be ordered aright}

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. {honestly: or, decently}
