Thou, O king, {art} a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
This matter {is} by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
It {is} thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

For the LORD most high {is} terrible; {he is} a great King over all the earth.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?
When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
If it be {so}, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver {us} out of thine hand, O king.
