And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.

That saith of Cyrus, {He is} my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head {was} made bald, and every shoulder {was} peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him {were} dark waters {and} thick clouds of the skies.
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
And they went out at noon. But Benhadad {was} drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he and the kings, the thirty and two kings that helped him.
And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make {him} afraid.
O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:
And it came to pass, when {Benhadad} heard this message, as he {was} drinking, he and the kings in the pavilions, that he said unto his servants, Set {yourselves in array}. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. {take her spoil...: Heb. spoil her spoil, and prey her prey}
A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come {and} smite the land of Egypt.
For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I {am} the LORD: because he hath said, The river {is} mine, and I have made {it}.

And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD.
