For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, {concerning} him that hath so done this deed, {judged: or, determined}
But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know {these things} before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Let all things be done decently and in order.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
Which {hope} we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

And he said unto him, Went not mine heart {with thee}, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? {Is it} a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?
