{And} how I kept back nothing that was profitable {unto you}, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. {dishonesty: Gr. shame}
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the {same} night in which he was betrayed took bread:
But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all {ye that are} upright in heart.
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him. {rejected: or, frustrated} {against...: or, within themselves}
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, {even} unto the end of the world. Amen.

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

All scripture {is} given by inspiration of God, and {is} profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship {is} with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard {you}; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, {that} whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare {it} unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.
And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew {them} unto thee {art} thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
And my speech and my preaching {was} not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: {enticing: or, persuasible}
For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. {corrupt: or, deal deceitfully with} {in Christ: or, of Christ}
How hast thou counselled {him that hath} no wisdom? and {how} hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.
And it came to pass, {that} when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, {even} all these words,
And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.
Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.
And Micaiah said, {As} the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak.
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which {is} by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee, {the east...: Heb. the sun gate}
