And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name. {purpose: Heb. say}
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, {but} it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. {the days: Chaldee, their days} {the kingdom: Chaldee, the kingdom thereof}
Of the increase of {his} government and peace {there shall be} no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become {the kingdoms} of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
But Solomon built him an house.
Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. {Solomon: that is, Peaceable}
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him {to be} my son, and I will be his father.
Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.
His seed also will I make {to endure} for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name {is} The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: {grow...: or, branch up from under him}
For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where {the LORD} appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. {where...: or, which was seen of David his father} {Ornan: also called, Araunah}
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I {will be} his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.
I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took {it} from {him} that was before thee:
But I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for ever.
But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.
And he said, Blessed {be} the LORD God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled {that} which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,
I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.
And he said, Blessed {be} the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled {it}, saying,
