All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel {were} of one heart to make David king.

Judah, thou {art he} whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand {shall be} in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.
Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we {are} thy bone and thy flesh.

So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.
And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for to Shechem were all Israel come to make him king.
These also {are} the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, {and} with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel. {strengthened...: or, held strongly with him}
But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.
When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
