And if by grace, then {is it} no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if {it be} of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Wherefore? Because {they sought it} not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man {that is} an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Behold, the eye of the LORD {is} upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given {us} everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
