God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, {which were} of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, {and that} a mighty voice. {send...: Heb. give}
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
They have seen thy goings, O God; {even} the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
