Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:
And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify {both} yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: {for that: or, in whom}
Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or {be} in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

Then said Haggai, If {one that is} unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
These {are} unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean {thing}; and I will receive you,
They have wandered {as} blind {men} in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. {so...: or, in that they could not but touch}
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? {spot: or, fault}

Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness {it be} that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth {of it}, then he shall be guilty.

All the days that he separateth {himself} unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
And the flesh that toucheth any unclean {thing} shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.
And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days.
And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.
And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that {they} may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. {men...: Heb. men of continuance}
Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean {thing, as} the uncleanness of man, or {any} unclean beast, or any abominable unclean {thing}, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which {pertain} unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
They shall not offer wine {offerings} to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices {shall be} unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable {things is in} their vessels; {broth: or, pieces}
