And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also {do} ye. {quarrel: or, complaint}
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. {rejoiceth: or, glorieth}
Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites {are}: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men {are}, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. {Satan: that is, an adversary} {to...: Heb. to be his adversary}

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Blessed {are} the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
