They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
{Which stood} only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed {on them} until the time of reformation. {ordinances: or, rites, or, ceremonies}
Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
Of all meat which may be eaten, {that} on which {such} water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every {such} vessel shall be unclean.
And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
These shall ye eat of all that {are} in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
These also {shall be} unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
For every creature of God {is} good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
And these {are they which} ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they {are} an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For {it is} a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon {all} four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that {there is} nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him {it is} unclean. {unclean: Gr. common}
Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: {as} the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he {is} unclean unto you.
Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth {shall be} an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one {tree} in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. {behind...: or, one after another}
