Who knoweth {if} he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; {even} a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where {is} their God? {rule over: or, use a byword against}
They shall not offer wine {offerings} to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices {shall be} unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.
Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: {men} shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
For these {things} I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. {relieve: Heb. bring back}
The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she {is} in bitterness.
Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, {yea}, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
But as for us, the LORD {is} our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, {are} the sons of Aaron, and the Levites {wait} upon {their} business:
And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, {even} Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.

And the meat offering thereof {shall be} two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD {for} a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof {shall be} of wine, the fourth {part} of an hin.
And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.
Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.
And the drink offering thereof {shall be} the fourth {part} of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy {place} shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD {for} a drink offering.
And one goat {for} a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.
Ye mountains of Gilboa, {let there be} no dew, neither {let there be} rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, {as though he had} not {been} anointed with oil.
The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her. {winepress: or, winefat}

But in all {things} approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, {approving: Gr. commending}
And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be {of} fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
