But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
For what {is} the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
And if {they be} bound in fetters, {and} be holden in cords of affliction;
And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers' stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
And said unto them, Ye shall not bring in the captives hither: for whereas we have offended against the LORD {already}, ye intend to add {more} to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and {there is} fierce wrath against Israel.
And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this {is that} king Ahaz.

By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make {the oppressed} to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, {being} bound in affliction and iron;
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast {him} into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
As {it is} written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. {made...: Heb. intreated we not the face of the, etc}
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the {world} to come.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: {there is} none among them that calleth unto me.
Hide them in the dust together; {and} bind their faces in secret.
He also {shall be} my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
But none saith, Where {is} God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
So {are} the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.
For the congregation of hypocrites {shall be} desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.
And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:
I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye {turned} not to me, saith the LORD.
In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
