Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying,

Woe unto you, {ye} blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways {from} the ancient paths, to walk in paths, {in} a way not cast up;

That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.

Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity. {caused...: Heb. were for a stumblingblock of iniquity unto, etc}
