I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these {things}.

Consider the work of God: for who can make {that} straight, which he hath made crooked?
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done {it}? {be afraid: or, run together?} {the LORD...: or, shall not the LORD do somewhat?}
But God {is} the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, {and} make {it} gross darkness.
Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, {and} the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts {is} his name:
Thou {art} my battle axe {and} weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; {with thee: or, in thee, or, by thee}
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour {it}, and {there be} none to quench {it} in Bethel.
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep {forth}. {beasts...: Heb. beasts thereof do trample on the forest}

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness {to them}, but it gave light by night {to these}: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord {be} with you all.
And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make {you} afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. {rid: Heb. cause to cease}
The portion of Jacob {is} not like them: for he {is} the former of all {things}; and Israel {is} the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts {is} his name.

Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;
But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that {appertain} unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. {make...: Heb. create a creature}

That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;
Surely at the commandment of the LORD came {this} upon Judah, to remove {them} out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
