Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature {shall be} hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. {destroy: or, repossess}
Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me {to} the judgment {that} thou hast commanded.
For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that {their} power is gone, and {there is} none shut up, or left. {power: Heb. hand}
Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
And the Egyptians shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath {is}, and whose {are} all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
