And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: {let the same be} she {that} thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.

And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: {let} the same {be} the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son.
And Joab said to Amasa, {Art} thou in health, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with the right hand to kiss him.
If he say thus, {It is} well; thy servant shall have peace: but if he be very wroth, {then} be sure that evil is determined by him.

And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: {let} the same {be} the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son.
But if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this {shall be} a sign unto us.
And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.
And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that {were} in the host. {armed men: or, ranks by five}
