He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received {it} not {as} the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, {there is} no beauty that we should desire him.

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he {is} the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king {is} as an angel of God: do therefore {what is} good in thine eyes.
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, {yea}, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. {despiseth: or, rejecteth}
We {are} fools for Christ's sake, but ye {are} wise in Christ; we {are} weak, but ye {are} strong; ye {are} honourable, but we {are} despised.
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done {it} unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done {it} unto me.
He that is ready to slip with {his} feet {is as} a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
